Long time, no write.

Well, the scale is going up and down, up and down, just like my motivation.  I'm kind of happy where I am, which is one reason why I think I'm lacking motivation to continue.  Plus, I get lots of compliments, which also makes me think that maybe I'm okay where I am.  BUT, I would really, really like to firm up several parts of my body. 

I'm hoping with summer break here that I will be running more, and maybe that'll help with the weight loss/firming up.  I'd love to go to the gym and use their weight equipment, but that's not in the budget.  I have a feeling that would help me with motivation.  The videos aren't always cutting it anymore.

Oh, and I am running the Sunburst 10K next Saturday.  I'm pretty nervous.  I haven't been running as much lately, and I've only run 6+ miles twice ever.  I'm planning a seven miler this weekend, then I'll run 2-3 shorter runs throughout the week.  I just want to not have to walk, and ultimately I would like to be under an hour.

  1. Good luck on the 10k!!! Maybe after a break from dieting you'll get your motivation back. Maybe you are just burnt out?

  2. That could be. I think I'm burnt out and so I'm relaxing a bit. I need a swift kick sometimes!
